How to Play Blackjack
Some players call the game blackjack and some call twenty-one. No matter what you call it, the goal of the game was best in the title of Edward O. 1963 Thorp’s best-selling book that started the blackjack revolution. The book’s title and purpose of the game is Beat the Dealer!
Blackjack is played with one, two, four, six or eight decks of cards not as online poker . Some casinos are also using continuous shuffling machine. A hand containing an ace is called a soft hand, because the value may change. If you draw a soft hand and three cards total a number where counting an ace as eleven would put you over 21 then the hand becomes a hard hand. Example: You are dealt an ace and a three. You have 4 or 14. If you then draw a ten now has a tough, and 14 if you count the Ace as 11 would have 25, you bust.

How to Play Soft Hands: - A soft hand is when one of your starting hands containing an ace.
If you have Ace 2 or Ace 3: Double if the dealer has 5 or 6 - otherwise hit.
If you have Ace 4 or Ace 5: Double if the dealer has 4-6 - in other affected.
If you have Ace 6: Double if the dealer has 3-6 - in other affected.
If you have Ace 7: Stand if the dealer has 2, 7 or 8. Double 3-thru 6 - otherwise hit.
If you have Ace 8 or Ace 9: Always standing.
How to Play Pairs
If you have a pair of Aces or Eights: Always split.
If you have a couple of twos or threes: Split if the dealer has 2-7, otherwise hit.
If you have a pair of fours: Split if the dealer has 5 or 6 - otherwise hit.
If you have a pair of fives: Double if the dealer has 2 through 9 - otherwise hit.
If you have a pair of sixes: Split if the dealer has 2-6 - in other affected.
If you have a pair of sevens: Split 2-7 - in other affected.
If you have a pair of nines: Split 2 through 6, and 8 or 9. Stand if the dealer has 7, 10 or Ace.
If you have a pair of tens: Always walk.
